   工字輪擺臂放線方式適合于較大盤重工字輪的放線，該方式的Z大優點是結構簡單，缺點是在放線過程中，工字輪每放出一圈線，線材在軸向方向扭轉360°，線材產生扭轉應力。

   工字輪擺臂放線裝置由擺臂、衛星輪、恒星輪、平衡配重、擺臂旋轉座、固定裝置等組成（圖1）。擺臂放線架通過固定裝置固定在工字輪上，隨擺臂旋轉座一同旋轉。線材先后繞過衛星輪、恒星輪和靜輪引向拉絲機等工序，在放線張力的作用下圍繞工字輪轉動放線。        
      平衡配重調整好以后可以確保在放線過程擺臂的平衡。
